Who We Are

San Juan Canyon Firewise Community is an official member of the National Firewise USA Program. We are residents of San Juan Canyon, Quinn Canyon and Hillside Neighborhoods working together to make our community more resilient to wildfire by:

Providing education and support to homeowners creating and maintaining defensible space

Providing resources and links for gathering information during a wildfire event

Organizing work parties to reduce fuel loads along roadways, as well as work parties for neighbors who may appreciate assistance

Coordinating wildfire planning and response with local and state agencies
